Remove the four rubber bungs at each corner of the screen cover then remove the four screws. Luckilly Toshiba have thought about this problem! If you offer the ninges up to the side of the screen, you will see how it is fixed. Remove the covers fron the underside and the hard drive unplugs WITH CARE! Unscrew the suround screws from the base and remove the top cover. You can leave the keyboard in place. You will see where the hinges fit to the base. Replacement is the reverse. Hope that helps.
