Location of the convergence circuit board on KP46WT510

Tv have a problems known as a convergence problems,it dead.The tv convergence board require it 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors are dead,require changing.These parts on the tv convergence board,must have to replaced these parts to solved convergence problems.The shop will cost u $300-350 for parts and labors.

its more likely needing the convergence ICs replaced. You can get the convergence repair kit for your model at the following link which contains both IC the six pico fuses and four of the feed resistors, The kit comes with instructions. Heres the link.

You have a convergence problem. Here are some of the most common symptoms. 
Screen looks 3D
One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu. 
Screen is bowed in but stationary.

Here is a quick test....

Using your original remote go-to the tv settings then goto the convergence section.

Try to adjust the red and then the blue convergence.

You should be able to move them up, down, left, and right.

If you can't move them in all directions your convergence chips are bad and should be replaced. This is a common problem.

You need to replace the convergence chips and convergence resistors. 

Check the site www.TvRepairKits.com. They have put together a kit for your exact model. The kit includes a photo instruction guide, original Sanyo STK chips, convergence resistors, etc. Everything you need to fix it yourself. 

Replace the convergence ICs and the pico fuses you can get a convergence repair kit at the following link which is for the KP46WT510 But its the same one for your model. The kit contains the two convergence Ics all six pico fuses and four resistors. Plus free step by step instructions with pictures that show how to do the repair. Heres the link to the kit.

Below is exploded view of your Sony KP-51HW40 TV rear side which shows board names and location.
You need to check D Board for convergence ICs and these are marked as IC8001 & IC8002 on circuit board.

• +5 line is overloaded. (A, B Boards)
• +5 line is shorted. (A, B Boards)
turn off for about about 4 hours

on a sony the convergence board is known as "d" board labeled with a big D

They go on the largest heatsinks in your set---the " back" side,
if you look over & down......that PC board must come out to
replace IC's.......
