Me too I'm facing the same problem. SO no need to worry about it will lost it when the call log increase it (when you call increases). Because it's the default set by the NOKIA in a new version. Like c1, c2, x2, x2-01 and so on..

try to format your nokia x3 by dialing *#7370# it will be wipe all data on phone memory,backup your important data before formating

Download from Nokia Ovi Store the tiny tool "Delete Single Log", this is what you want. It can delete individual call log / sms log entry.

Take the phone to your service provider and they can factory reprogram it for you and if you are lucky they may be able to recover your contacts/calendar items as well.

How do i delete my call log on a nokia x3-o2 phone
Hello,
To delete the call log of Your nokia x3-o2 is very simple, all You need to do is follow the steps below:
  1. Go to the menu,
  2. select the call log from the menu,
  3. From the call log, You have call log, missed call, received calls, dialled numbers, and others,
  4. From the list You have "clear call log", select it
  5. A option will will come up asking what You want to clear, just select call log,
  6. It will instantly delete all call log.
