Hp mini 2133 shuts down when on high power when plugged in

My HP Mini 2133 running windows Vista Home Premium with 2GB mem turns off when i have it plugged in to power and when windows power management is set to high power. When on battery power, it runs fine. If i set power setting to power saver, and have it plugged in, it runs fine. Really need help on this.

Tested it with other power adaptors, still suddenly turns off when set on high power and plugged in.

Ive just adjusted power management to go max of 95% of processor usage and 5% minimum when plugged in. It doesnt turn off now. Is there possibly problems with the processor and it running on 100% power?

Yeah, but its default is set to 100% so its supposed to be using all its CPU resources. Does this mean my processor has a problem?

vista is your first problem, nothing wrong with it but there are better. then 2gig memory running vista is not so good if you could up that by 2 or 4 more gigs thazt would make a huge difference!

SOURCE: how do I turn on my HP mini notebook wireless

Look at your notebook's front edge, below the keyboard and touchpad.
To the left of the touchpad you have the on/off switch, to the right there is a wireless on/off switch, with an antenna symbol beside it.

You must have switched it off accidentally :)

My HP Mini 2133 do not turn on.

Remove Power Supply. Remove Battery and let Stand for 20 minutes unplugged and BaTTERY OUT.

Return Battery, Plug in Power Supply and push START BUTTON.

It should Work again.

If that does not work ,and its no longer under Guarantee: Take out the battery and close top; run over with SUV TIRE and send back to HP :). These Mini s are mostly Junk and poorly designed. The only ones that pass muster are the IBM LEVONOS they ROCK!

In your control panel you can select system properties and then device manager.
If the webcam had a yellow ! then you will need to install or update the drivers. Drivers can be found under the support section at the manufactures website.

(easy way to system properties is windows key + break key)
