AM TIRED I BOUGHT NOKIA 6600 AND I JUST CHANGED TO A DOWNLOADED THEMES AND THE PHONE WENT BLANK AND WENT OFF,THEN I SWITCHED IT ON,IT ONLY DISPLAYED THE NOKIA WELCOME LOGO AND WENT OFF AGAIN AND SINCE THEN IT REFUSED TO POWER ON,I AN JUST SICK AND TIRED OF NOKIA 6600

What exactly is your phone unit? Nokia phones have different formats for their themes. For example, the s40 series uses .nth files and the s60 devices use .sis files for their themes. Check first the default themes on your phone and the extension so you can download the ones that are compatible with your phone.

your phone belongs to s60v2 series and supports .sis extension type themes.just try the following procedure to download theme via phone it self.

• just visit the site www.mobile9.com or www.ownskin.com through your mobile(use operamini or ucweb or default browser).
• find download section of theme for nokia 6680.
• download theme you like most.it should be in sis format.
• when downloading finished open it.
• it will ask you for installation.install it on memory card.

• to apply theme you downloaded go to tools then in theme.

theme you downloaded must be there apply it.
now you are done.ALWAYS USE FIXYA TO FIX YOUR PROBLEM.

if you want to download via your phone you should have a working GPRS connection.

maybe the themes did not fit your phone.try other themes or try to format you MC then install the themes back or try install fileman and by using this you can check anything that you install..hope this help..

A. Blank screen phone unable to boot-up. B. Phone is only able to boot-up to “Nokia” screen (may flash “Nokia” 4 times also).
C. Install a program but unable to uninstall it.

If you have any files that are important to you, make backups.
1. Make sure you phone is fully charged.
2. Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card (if possible).
3. Switch-off your 6600 phone.
4. Press and hold these three keys together
-Green dial key,
-Star key (*)
-Three key (3)
then press the power on/off to swtich on the 6600 phone.
DO NOT let go the three keys until you see the “formatting” screen displayed

maybe the lcd connector was off.takoff the front cover and screws and try to conect it again
