We have lost the stock remote that came with it and need to find a replacement. My son is mildly autistic and likes to use the remote and the missing remote is now causing a huge issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That particular insignia remote is available here. It is about $20.
I also recommend the Logitech Harmony series remotes. I have several of them and they can replicate features of just about any stock remote. They are available at Walmart, Amazon, Bestbuy and just about any electronics store. The cheapest one is about $20 and it should more than suffice for one TV.
You can get a cheap universal remote for just about any TV at Walmart however you may be missing menu and specialty functions that the stock remote would have.
You need to buy a remote for that TV. They're available online for around $39. This site has them in stock, but you can shop around to be sure its a good price. When you receive it, turn on your TV and press menu on the remote and turn off child lock. Click the Remote here:
