Lost the plug

I bought the WOLFGANG PUCK 1700-Watt Deep Fryer, but recently I moved and I misplace the cord to plug it. I would like to know where can I get it. Thank you, I hope you can help me.

Wolfgang Puck has a website on which you can purchase replacement parts for this fryer. Click on products, and then the fryer for a complete listing.

SOURCE: WOlfgang Puck Deep Fryer 1500 watts power cord

Hi - The 1700 watt fryer uses a magnetic release cord set type TA 35 P. If your unit says "use only with TA HSING CORD SET TYPE TA 35P, It should work.

Getting error reading on display. How do I fix this issue so I can make my wings today?

I have the deep fryer, which I have had a few years and got it out last night and I'm getting an error message. There is nothing about what to do about this in the trouble shooting guide. We made sure the control panel was in and after that have no idea how to solve this problem. Ann Lytle

Error message

I don't know if this is the true answer or just works with ours, but if I hold the on button (for heating) and the program button together in a couple seconds it stops blinking and resets to the temperature mode. When that hasn't worked, it's also worked to hit the rest button in the back first and hold for a couple seconds and then hit the two buttons mentioned above together. However, each time I get the ERR message it gets harder and harder to reset. I would love for someone else to respond for the actual "fix" for this as it's looking to be the actual computer part of the thermastat to us and I'm wondering if it's worth fixing or shopping for a new fryer is needed for price. But, this has gotten us through for now to be able to fry again.

Won't come on.

Hi - If you have your manual, check out page 16 for troubleshooting. Make sure the magnetic cord is properly fastened, and the removable control panel with the heating element is properly attached to the outer housing, because it has a safety microswitch which will not allow the control panel to work unless it is properly seated into both grooves in the housing.

Fuse keeps tripping

The first thing to do would be to get an electrician to your home to check that the problem is not with your supply. If you ask nicely then the same guy could probably check your fryer for short circuits - the most likely culprit if the problem is intermittent is the plug on the power cord, the cable and the connection inside the fryer where the cord goes in - check that all these are ok. The other possible cause could be a faulty element, however this is unlikely to be an intermittent fault, and it would usually get worse quickly to the point of not working at all. Hope this helps - please post again if not :)
