Sceptre 17" Naga monitor

My computer monitor usually has a solid light, now the light is blinking and the monitor is not working at all. Did it go to sleep, is there a reset button?

    we tried that first, the hard drive works when hooked up to a different monitor. I should have specified that, any other options?

try with restarting computer & press F8 at the same time. u will see a menu where choose "safe mode" & start the computer. in safe mode see the display properties, set the refresh rate & resolution according to monitors specifications, apply & restart again. if that does not work, replace the main board of lcd monitor.

Sceptre x24 has suddenly stopped working. Monitor
if you are using integrated video, your integrated video is fried, done gone. if you have a pci or pcie or vga video card, its gone or blown or dead as a doornail. replace the video card and youll be up and running again

My Scepter LCD Monitor just blinks when it's turned on
Open it up and the first place to look will be the power supply section, look for bad caps with bulging top/bottomseal, post back what you see so we can guide you further, see example of failed monitors due to bad caps: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

Not an expert, but from what Ive read, this is a cfl inverter issue. I had the same problem on my Sceptre. Good luck finding parts. My solution: get another monitor.

Make sure that the PC video output is set at 60 Hz. The LCD often will accept up to 75Hz but will not work correctly.
