I have a sidekick 2008 and i know i can put music on it from my computer with a cord, and i have one it came with my phone, but it wont show up on windows media player and thats were all my music is, and i kow its do able cuz my sister did on this same computer and everything. i think im just missin a step or something... can anyone help?

Hook the phone up to the computer using the type of cord that your phone uses, then just sync the songs you would like to have on there.
Or the way i do it is by getting a SD Micro card if your phone holds it, then just download and sync..!

well it happens some time, if you want to format the memory card, the best way is to
take your memory card out of the phone
put it in all-in-one card reader
and format through computer
be sure you selete "FAT" option not "FAT 32" when format via computer.
put the card back.
You need to put a memory card in before you can connect your SideKick Slide to the computer. So once you put in that Memory card, you can connect it to your computer.
you cannot put music you download from your computer as a ring tone for your sidekick the only
tones you can use are the 1s you get from the apps store
you must have proper software and aux cord to integrate your unit to pc, check if you have cd installer in the package of your product mostly it comes together, if not software can be avail to the product website or check with www.download.com
if you don't have aux cord check with the store for the compatabilty of cord to your unit.
You should be able to plug the usb cable into the port on the right side of the phone.. A screen will pop up on your computer saying new storage divice (not sure if you have a mac). You can open your files and send them to that storage divice. If the pop up does not appear go to my computer and look for the sidekick 3 drive then you can open your music player and right click a song and choose send to and the that storage divice. Let me know if you need help!
all you need to do is to get a mini sd card (memory card) incert it into your sidekick 3 phone and also get a usb cable for that your phone, plug it into your computer this will install as a flash drive copy & paste MP3 audio file format into your memory card. Now you can enjoy your favorites music on the go!
