When I turn on my NP-Q1-V000/SEA and press the reset (to cntl Atl Delete) the pen or stylus does not track so I can't log on or even turn it off without removing the power and battery. It happened one time before this but resolved itself after a couple of reboots. Now I just can't get it to work.
Also, (once I get it working again) is there anything I can do to use the stulus with my hand on the screen. I always have to rest my hand on the body of the unit, so i can't use it lengthwise so I can see more text etc...

Fixed it. Opened the back cover and reinserted the memory.and it bootedup. So I guess memory got loose.

There are two Youngshin-t AWM ribbon cables that wrap around at that point of the unit. Have you or someone taken the unit apart to upgrade the RAM or anything like that? I bought a used Q1 Ultra and previous owner was an idiot and had litterally broken several leads in the 10cm ribbon cable and also pits in the longer ribbon cable. There is a video online with a gentleman who does a ram upgrade, you can watch this to learn how to safely open the Q1 Ultra and check the stylus housing area for a short.
I'm not sure what Chipworm is talking about because the housing for the stylus does not contain any type of sensors that I am aware of. I've taken the Q1 Ultra apart down to individual components.
