Hi. Spray a little WD40 into the key lock then turn the key back and worth to work it in. Common problem after spillage. If it still doesn't work, have it checked for damage.
That is a very old machine. It might not have enough memory for two Z reports. if it has a Z2 position, turn the key to Z2 and press CASH (if it is marked X2/Z2, press decimal point before cash). Note: If you have never used the second report it will have a large total built up. you will need to reset it as above to clear it and then it will be correct from the next month onwards.
It depends upon the programming of the reports section, but the Z2 mode is usually reserved for periodic reports such as monthly. Z1 is for daily reports
It depends which brand and model. Most have a Z1 and Z2 position. If you want a daily, turn to Z or Z1, not Z2. If you want more info, let me know the brand and model

Hi. It depends upon the way it was setup by your dealer. If you turn the key to Z mode, then press CASH, it should print a daily report. If it has been setup for periodic reports, then you turn to Z2, press 1 then CASH and it should give a weekly report.
Hi. Have you had periodic reports setup on this machine? If you do daily reports, then you need to use the periodic report mode (Z2) for a yearly report. Try turning to Z2 then press 1 then CASH. Make sure the top of the report shows 'Z2' and not 'X2'. If it shows the X then it probably hasn't been setup for periodics.
