My brand new LG Renoir KC910 will not switch on after charging the battery Mine will not turn on and also goes into a loop. But this only happens after I sync my contacts. If I delete all my contacts it works fine. LG you have a problem. I have already taken one back to the store and still happens with the new one.

I have now found that by deleting some of my contacts so as it is less than 200 it will start up fine. It is as if it is trying to load all my contacts to my simcard on start up.

I have found that by syncing all my contacts the phone will not turn on if I turn it off after this. However if I remove the sim card it will turn on. I then deleted a couple of my contacts and put the sim back in and it started up. I then reloaded the couple of contacts I deleted and it will now turn on and off fine. There is a glitch there somewhere, but this is a work around.

Problem when updating phone

Phone will crash and go into endless please wait
even tring to reupdate will fail.

Luckly had old phone so put sim card noticed that this stopped loop problem try'd update again success.

REMOVE SIM CARD BEFORE UPDATING (worked for me)

1. From main screen tap the messaging icon at the bottom of the
screen. LG-Renoir info
2. Scroll the screen up and tap Messaging settings.
3. Tap Multimedia Message
4. Scroll down and tap multi msg centre
5. Tap the bottom left icon and tap Add New
6. At Title tap and enter TMobile
7. for MMSC URL enter http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
8. than save and activate the profile.. I think this should work. I just did it to mine cause I was having same problem it is now saying its sending so we shall see what happens lol

When i try to turn on my wifi my Lg Renoir restarts ! Any suggestions on how to solve this ?

maybe the phone dies due to bad battery or poor battery connection.

remove the battery and clean the contacts.

Lg renoir has been charged up, but when making calls it starts to show low battery, and then when finished it goes back to full life

You may be using or have your mobile enabled to use 3G networks which takes a lot more power than a 2G network, check your settings. Plus, if you have a lot of apps running at one time they do not show battery usage as quickly as when making/receiving calls. This may help,I hope.

Lg renoir keeps freezing

Mine does that , need to take the battery out to fix the problem ,so its going back for a replacement, then i will be selling it, because this is the 2nd fault in 10 months..

LG Renoir wont turn on

Hmmm, I have the same problem as well. I have just recently exchanged my LG renoir for another one with my buisness contract insurance due to the previous handset's camera not working.
I have had this new one for about 4 days and everything was fine until last night. I sent a text and looked at my phone and it just went black. The backlight still on, the green button, the menu and the red one all light up. Even when I take the battery in and out, it just goes to the lights, if im lucky, i would see the logo LG then it goes back to just all the backlights on. I am wondering if I can reset the phone but I get my upgrade in April. To be honest, I cannot wait.
