Battery problem my O2 Xda Atom shows that I have 100% battery life, obviously it doesn't always have 100%. The device then turns off. When I turn it back on, it shows a different % of battery life, however it starts to increase from that original % all the way back to 100% so I never know much battery I actually have. Does anybody have a solution? Thanks.

For battery problems, if I were you, I'll replace battery.
That once happened to my XDA II, but same issue though.

If it won't fix it, try upgrading ROM/ OS of your o2 to WM6.
Most bugs fixed.

My O2 Atom life got dead bootloader.Beforehand I already mis-upgrade firmware of this O2.Now my atom life become brick.there's is no activity except just blinking LED.I's meaning Bootloader can not up...

I'm not using an Atom Life, so I don't have the flashing files for your device. But I think these links will help you a lot for understanding the process. First link is exactly for your device, I got it translated from russion to english by google, second is from a very good source, xda-developers. And the last one is not Atom Life but it is close so the pictures can help. You'll also need a JTAG cable. I hope this helps. (Because the only other solution than this is replacing your mainboard which will cost you around $300-$400) (http://translate.google.com/translate?prev=hp&hl=en&js=n&u=http://pda2u.ru/forum/topic338.html&sl=ru&tl=en) (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=336278) (http://xdaflameusers.com/viewtopic.php?id=703)

How to set up wifi on o2 xda atom

In case you use an ADSL modem, its not gonna work.

I had to give mine a static IP address to get the Wifi to work (DHCP did not work at all). It also seems very slow and the battery life drains very quickly when you start using the wifi anyway.

hope this helps you....

Unable to boot up my O2 Xda Atom

Dear cafei,

Go to boot loader on your O2 XDA atom by removing batt+pressing camera button+plugging in the batt back WHILE still press holding the cam button the ue the stylus to press soft reset button, then connect to your pc via usb, then run the update program (most refer to it as DSUU, u can download one from seeo2.com) just wait for the progress to complete and you're done.

if in case you get stuck at 6%, unplug usb cable, remove battery, then insert battery while press holding the power button, while still holding the power button, press the reset button with the stylus, it should show the o2 splash, wait for any progress. then re-run the DSUU again to perform full flash.

Good luck!

disclaimer:
please take note that i did not suggest any 3-party rom, it is best if you try the O2-released ROM (or DSUU).

O2 atom battery won't charge

I would suggest you to buy a new battery, since the one you have is 2 years old. If that doesnot solve the problem, you could try checking the mini connector on the phone. Sometimes, due to heavy usage (connect and reconnect to the jack) it is damage/loose. Try bring them to a repair shop.

My o2 celphone won't turn on

O2 XDA Atom / O2 XDA Atom Pure / HP rw6828:

To perform a hard reset, use the stylus while pressing into the reset hole, press the power on/off button at the same time. Screen will prompt you to press the Green call and Red end call button together to confirm on hard resetting the device.

*Note: Hard resetting the device will cause the device to be reset back to its original factory default settings and all data will be lost.
i hope it will help your prob.
