Black Screen I am using a Sony Cybershot DSC-P73, when i turn my cam on, and view pictures, i can, but when i switch it to take pictures, i see black screen, i cant even take pictures. I can view pictures that was in my camera but cant take pictures. When i go to menu mode, i can see the menus. please help thank u much

Camera wont take pictures

thats an odd problem with that model .I recommend alamocamera.com .ive used them twice and was happy both times..thanks

DSC-P73 is an old model cybershot and does not support 1GB memory stick.
Please use maximum 512MB memory stick.

Good Day, LCD display is defective, pls contact nearest service center, no longer user serviceable, still u can use it using optical viewfinder, but you can no longer change settings, cause infos are displayed on the LCD screen. Thanks

Camera ccd is / has failed - also possible , lens iris is stuck closed ( on monitor , can see very faint snow noise against black background - check if iris opens , by shining penlight into lens );
