Radio has no sound. dsiplay works. onstar phone

I had the same problem with my 04 Suburban, sound and then no sound from anything (radio, on star, door chime, etc). The dealership thought it was the radio, so they put a new radio in. A day later the same problem. It turned out to be the amplifier under the center console. Everything is working with no problem for over a year.

2004 suburban having trouble starting. when the key is turned it turns over but doesn't fire up. will start on the second try

Try just turning the key on without cranking it for about 15 seconds, then crank it over...If it starts, likely the anti drainback valve in the pump is bad. At that point, you can change the pump or just live with it till you can afford to spend the time and $ to do the job.

Radio doesn't work

Sounds like an internal radio problem possibly a diode or power supply transistor.

This may sound funny but unwind the cable to the ground lie on your back and kick the spare tire until you free it.
