Sony do not provide a way to reset the hour counter in the DSR45P.
You could replace the NOVRAM IC but then you would have to do all the servo and equiliser alignments.

error C3125 is cause by SE board and tape jam.So what u do is cake the 3 main cable going from Compartment to VE board.if u had open them.That is main problem.

the issue is probably related to the format the tape was recorded in. a z1u records in hi def (hdv) the dsr 45 is standard def ntsc. not compatable, play the tape in a z1 to recover
