Webcam installation I have purchased a ge easycam the webcam basically consists of a install disc and the cam itself I inserted the disc and let the disc install the drivers needed and the web cam shows that it's on by showing the green light but the program says it requires windows xp /windows 98 se/ 2000/ or me, but my operating system is windows vista is there anyway to troubleshoot this problem so I'm able to use my web cam

    I have been using iball robo468 web cam 4.9.13.2 with windows xp. now changed to windows 7.installed web cam but a black background instead of picture. any solution?

    how do I fix it every time I use web to find info it comes up with cobalt web cam but the bran I have is cobolt with a o not a a nothing ive tried has worked

Sorry no solution, but I hope it helps anyway :)

1st You download Webcam Driver.
I just buy this web
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

You should be able to download it from the GE site. Enter the following argument into the google box 'ge maxell webcam installation disk'. It will return a pointer to the GE site that will have downloads available.

to install web cam to your computer you must put the usb to the usb port then insert the driver cd to the cd driver and press install...click and wait until it will finish install then after that you can use your cam..

you can try this..

but for some reason, I'm not sure that GE makes those..can you check the maker on that item.
