2000 Ford Windstar front windows stopped operating, all fuses checked

A few weeks ago my right (passenger) front window stopped operating and yesterday the left side stopped as well. When I press the button for the left side I hear a :::click::: but with the left there is no response. When either button is pressed with the lights on they dim very slightly and momentarily. There are no other problems with any other electrical item. Any ideas? Not the fuses or relays, they look good.

I suggested you use some OBD2 scanner to have a detect. Very easy to use and very useful.

The owner's manual identifies 2 fuses, #34 for the drivers side, #40 for the passenger's side. The Fuse panel is located under the dash, driver's side, close to the side wall. Squeeze the fuse cover plate to remove it and use the fuse puller on the underside of the fuse cover plate to remove the fuse. #34 and #40 are 30 amp fuzes and adjacent to each other

Front passenger side window quit working about a year ago. Driver window quit this week. Fuse? Motor? Help.

Sounds like a motor issue. Remove the door panel and check power to the motor whe the switch is pressed. If you have power in both directions the motor is bad.

Check your fuses under hood and on dash. Some of these use two different fuses for rt. & lt. Look in you owners manual for the correct fuses to check. If it is a fuse problem, you will have to find out why the fuse was blown. Good luck
