    I have a sanyo remote and it won't change channels..I think I just need the codes for it.. where would I get those???

Hi I would suggest getting the Phillips Digital 5 Device remote Model PHDVD5, I have one of these, and I have yet to fond anything this universl remote will not operate, it is outstanding! you can get this remote at a local WalMart store, thats where I purchased mine, goodluck:)

How did you check the fuse? Just by looking at it or do you have a multimeter?

If you have a meter check the secondary diodes on the power supply and the horizontal output transistor. Perhaps one of them is shorted.

Sanyo Model AVM 3659G won't recognize DVD player
Hi,

Let's try the easy one first:
  • verify the connections, normally yellow for video, white & red for audio. TV has to be set to Video 1, A/V or Channel 0;
  • in some instances, it could be a single coaxial cable. If it were so, the TV has to be set to Ch 3.

the tv is set in the video mode! select it to the TV or air mode! use your remote control then select the TV air mode.

How do I adjust the vertical hight of a SANYO 36" TV. vertical height can adjusted by height conrol that is inside tv in your case you can also adjust by remote control. for that you will have to open menu by giving service code. regards thanks

The DISPLAY button on the remote will remove the on-screen display, so you either have to order the original remote or look for a universal remote with a "display" button and hope it works.
