Question about Sanyo AVM-3659S 36" TV

1 Answer

Ticking sound when TV off

I have the noted Sanyo 36" TV. Picture & sound are perfect. Operates normally. When turned off, makes constant fast ticking sound from bottom-rear of set. Sound is not coming from speakers. If unplugged, noise stops. I have the exact same problem, and always have to unplug it. Anyone know what the issue is? Is it a Sanyo thing?

I have a ticking noise since i baought it in 09 is there a racall or is it normal

Well, um, sort of depends on two things:

1. What "it" is. Make/model/engine

2. Better description of your "ticking noise". Is it constant? How fast? Does it speed up with driving speed?

Ticking noise underneath the car approximately midway.

The sound you hear is the metal parts of your exhaust system and catalytic converter cooling down. Some cars are louder than others but the sound is perfectly normal.

No picture, then no picture and no sound

if your could hear a slight ticking (tick-tick tick) or whining then some electronic component might have been damaged (shorted). if you have no experience repairing electronic equipments then i suggest you to send your TV to a service station!
