There probably is not a driver specifically for Windows 7.
Usually you will have to use the one for Windows Vista.
Windows 7 is only a glorified version of Vista anyway.

Go here:Drivers
Select the Downloads tab, then select the operating system.
If you have 32 bit Win 7 then select the 32 bit Vista.

If you have home premium then select the same for Vista.

In the next drop down menu select Original Driver.

There is one for Vista called camera module driver

Those 2 software packages offered by Sony on their web site, (a) ArcSoft Magic-i Visual Effects, and
(b) WebCam Companion Software, may just include the driver necessary to get their packages to
work with Win7 - pick one an install it - if the camera works, you got the driver. If the camera still
refuses to work, then all you have to do is de-install the package, install the other one and
give that a try.

I have sony vaio VGN-SZ484N with opreating system window 7 prof. 32bit . I need a driver to start the built in camera.

There is no specific Windows 7 camera driver for this model, but you can still trying installing the driver i.e. vista camera driver in Windows 7. Please download the driver from HERE. and follow THESE instructions. It should work. The instructions may be a little different, but I hope you won't have problem following them. Let me know if you need further help.

Download and install the drivers from the Sony site, see link below. You the drivers made for Vista, they should work for Windows 7.

You need to re-install the Camera Driver after installing the Vista Operating System in the Computer. Please try installing the WIndows XP Camera Driver and the Vista Camera Application in the Computer to resolve the issue.

You can download the Camera Driver here.

Please download and save the file in a folder in the Computer. Then, please open the folder where the file is saved and double click on it to begin the installation. After installation of the Driver, please restart the Computer for the settings to take the effect.

Then, please download and install the Vista Camera Application and Updates in the Computer.

Download the VAIO Camera Capture Utility

Download the VAIO Camera Capture Utility Update

Sony Camera Filter Driver Update

Please install the VAIO Camera Capture Utility and Updates in the same order. Please restart the Compuer after each installation for the settings to take the effect.

This should fix it..
