Posted on Nov 11, 2008

No manual I recently moved into a new house and have a baumatic oven (unsure of model but looks like the B187) yet no manual... I have no idea what the pictures on the left hand dial mean, so therefore have no idea what to put it on to cook, also half of the pictures have started to wear away... I just need a manual, can anyone help me?? or my kids are eating charcoal for the forseeable future... Many Thanks..

The light bulb is the oven light.
The snowflake with 3 raindrops is Defrost Mode (fan runs with no heat to reduce defrost time)
The 2 lines up top & down bottom is Traditional Cooking (heat from top & bottom elements)
The big circle with a fan is the Fan forced Oven
The small line at top only is the Grill Mode
The larger line at top only is the Double Grill Mode
The line up top with the fan underneath is Double Grill with Fan mode
The line on the bottom with fan on top uses the lower element with the fan for delicate dishes

The manual can be found on the Baumatic website - www.baumatic.com.au - select your product which takes you into another page & you will see on the left hand side a link to "View User Manual"

WOULD you please have a manual for the Baumatic wall oven model BO65MS.I have moved into a house with no manual. Hoping you can help please

I searched using https://www.google.com but did not find an exact match for the model oven your provided.

Although the following free manual has a similar model number, but is not exactly the same, it also has phone numbers and contact information for you to request a manual directly from the manufacturer.

When i turn electric oven on the house fuses blow no fan no heat

If this is a new oven, look at the plate on the oven or in the user manuel. It should show the input amperage. Then check the amperage number on the fuse. If the fuse number is lower, that is the problem. To fix it will not be easy. The oven circut needs to be rewired with heavyer gage wire and a larger capicity fuse. This could get expensive.
If this problem is on an existing oven, chances are there is a wiring or switch problem. If you are not familier with electricity here is my recommendation.STOP! and call an electrition. the chances are high that if you try to fix this on your own you may be electrocuted or you may burn your house down.

My Baumatic B180W-B oven does not heat up. The

If the oven is electrically heated, then more than likely, the oven element has failed.

This is located behind a removeable cover at the rear of the oven.

Oven does not heat up.

You will probably find that it is the oven element that has failed.
This is to be found at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.
Hope this helps.
