You would spray it into the throttle body by removing the rubber hose between the body and the air cleaner box. Open the throttle plate before you spray.
If you check the wiper plug with the key on and the wipers shut off,you should only have power in one wire, the park return wire.If this is the case then the problem lies in the slip ring portion of the wiper motor and you will need to replace the whole motor as parts are not available to make the needed repairs to it.If you have more than one wire staying powered up with the key on and the wiper switch turned off then try unplugging the switch[in the steering column]to see if the problem is in the switch,it's unlikely that the harness is shorted.
i believe that this wiper is actually a hook type where you remove the whole blade assebly by pushing in the sides at the connection where the blade meets and then pulling down the whole wiper blade from the rod it connects to(in other words if you pull the wiper blade upright and away from the window you actually pull the whole blade assembly doown towArds the hood)
you have to disconnect the negative side of the battery so you won't kill it then remove the door panel look for hidden screws behind the arm rest and behind what looks like little doors that you have to use a screw driver to open once that is removed you will find a plastic sheet just cut and peel this back (you can use duct tape to replace it when you are done) also put on gloves because inside the doors there is sharp edges, you then can see the motor and you will need to break off the rivets but you can put the new one on with just a small bolt and nut and use lock tight
Some of the gauges are on the same fuse as the dome light; check the fuses. The other main source of gauge problems for this vintage F150 is the sending units and I don't use the term sending unit lightly, so when you go to the parts store make sure you say you are looking for sending units not sensors (sensors hook to the computer) sending units are of 2 types for this vintage F150, lights and guages you need the ones for gauges, the oil sending unit is about 4 dollars and the coolant temp sending unit for a guage is about the same.
I have 4 fords and you will come to understand that the wiring is a jury rig, all this come out when they are the age of your 1989 PU.
