Motor not going on York Optimum 60100 - after a while E 1 appears

I have an Optimum 60100. It powers up normally – display etc works. When I press “start” – NOTHING happens (motor does not move or make any sound. After a while the E1 message appears. If I manually move the belt of the treadmill after I have pressed the “start” it keep on displaying on the screen; until I stop moving the belt. Just after I have stopped moving the belt manually, the E1 message appears. Could you please suggest what could be possible reasons for this? Also, I live in Hamilton New Zealand. Is there someone in this area that can work on the York?

Dear Sir:
This is probably a 1) faulty speed sensor or 2)the speed sensor is not plugged in properly. Its also possibly a 3) faulty motor control board or lower board 4) Main motor faulty. . The error codes will differ between makes and models but could be e1.You must test

see my personal TIPS for diagnose and troubleshooting.

See if you can run the software calibration for diagnose and trouble.

sincerely. God bless you.

When I press the power button to turn the computer on, nothing is displayed on the LCD screen. Power light, Hard Drive light, and Battery Light all appear normally. I hear the fan blowing internally and...

Check the resolution of the screen by right clicking on an empty part of the screen and choosing properties. Go to settings and make the resolution 1078 x 768 and hit apply and ok. There are instances when the resolution will change from a software update etc. that is not supported by the monitor or graphics card.

I got a E1 appears on my york 60100 and it's not working at all

the E1 error with yorks typically means that the speed sensor isnt communication correctly with the computer. Here is the series to try and get things communicating again. Turn off and on a couple times. No luck... Turn off and use your feet to rotate the running mat once around. Turn back on. No luck... Turn off and unplug. Check all wires to make sure nothing is unplugged inside or on the machine other than the main power plug. I would also just for good measure unplug and plug all wires I can easily reach and do so with. Once everything is buttoned safely back up plug the machine back in and turn on.

Screen blank

Sounds like its simply going into power save mode. Does your screen come back on when you move the mouse or press a key on the keyboard? Is the computer still on? Check your power options in control panel.
