When you install Outlook 2010, it automatically converts the Personal Address Book that you used in an earlier version of Microsoft Outlook. Outlook 2010 then adds the converted data to your Outlook 2010 Contacts folder.
If Outlook 2010 does not automatically convert your Personal Address Book, you can import your Personal Address Book to Outlook 2010. To do this, follow these steps:
Start Outlook 2010.
Click the File menu.
Click Open, and then click Import. The Import and Export Wizard opens.
Click Import from another program or file, and then click Next.
Click Personal Address Book, and then click Next.
Click Browse, locate the Personal Address Book that you want to import, and then click OK.
Note Earlier versions of Outlook assign a .pab file name extension to a Personal Address Book. By default, Outlook stores the Personal Address Book in the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Usually on face book, if you type in the persons name and they have a Facebook account it will pop up with several people that match the name of the person your looking for. Once you locate that person you friend them and then you can share your pics.
I have exactly the same issues with A Rangerover Sport 2010 and several Blackberrys 8800/8200. All work but only shows number not name form the address book. very frustrating!!
Nobaby can suggest a solution? appears to be a RR issue?
It should be as simple as adding their name and number to the address book on the phone.
Make sure to list the number under the Mobile Phone line.
While in the address book, there is usually a line that says "New Entry" or "Add number" etc...(without the type of phone I cant get specific).
Another method is to into the text message itself and do an options click (again without the phone cant be specific) and there should be an option to add the number to the address book.
You're not doing anything wrong. The e-mail address is stored there in your address book. Outlook and Outlook Express just display this as the contacts name. It will still go through to their e-mail address.
To get the e-mail address, just double click their name.
Do you have your address book sorted by first or last name, first/last and name/picture are the only options I have. but when I open the address book, I can type names to jump to, one letter at a time, just like typing in a name... like 3332777555 for 'carl'.
I am not too sure about your phone but if i want to get to someones name quicker i just push on phonebook and push a letter!like if you wanted to send something or ring someone and there name started with S,then you would push onto phonebook and press number key 7.hope that made sense!
