That surgest you have no clerk numbers yet as the error E008 = Not signed on, working without a clerk number i have uploaded a manual for this on my host HERE i hope this helps

An RC operation won't change the CASH button operation. It sounds like it has accidentally had a limitation applied. Try this:
Turn key to Program mode 0 CASH SUBTOTAL 3 SUBTOTAL 0 CASH SUBTOTAL Now turn back to REG mode

Someone has programmed a limit on the CASH button. Try this:
Turn key to program position 0 CASH SUBTOTAL 3 SUBTOTAL 0 CASH SUBTOTAL
Turn key back to REG mode and try it.

The clerk function is used to log sales under staff numbers. It is usually used when you pay your staff by commission, or you want to track particular sales by certain staff.
To sign a clerk on, type a clerk number and press CLK#. By default, the clerk numbers are 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. They can be changed if you need secret codes.
To sign a clerk off, press SIGN OFF
