Lost code for Vauxhall Astra CDR 500(E). Extracted radio to find VDO with 330886636 underneath this. Lower down was No.: 24 469 302 and underneath was TYPE: CDR 500(E). There are numbers within the barcode label and another box with WA020234. None of these numbers/codes appear to be the right one. The small unit that can be detached from mthe front of the radio has 2 codes on the reverse as follows;- PA6-GF15 and GM 13 107 918 which appears the most likely although i beleive most codes are 14 digits long. Can someone please put me out of my misery as this is my girlfriends car. Her constant whining is bad enough but she's started to sing in the car now!!! Please, please HELP!!!

Try your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop (who are normally the cheapest option) who will connect it to a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

The CDR2005 is made by SIEMENS/VDO and unfortunately the code cannot be calculated using any program (from Ebay and elsewhere) as it has to be looked up on the original Vauxhall database which is only available at a main Vauxhall Dealer

The alternative is to take it into a Radio Decoding Service who will open it up and wire it into a laptop to read the memory chip (EEPROM) using special dump reading sofware.
