Hi there,
First I'd like to thank you for selecting my services. I've located the software for your NRC Scanner scale 7875. You can obtain firmware and related tools from http://www5.ncr.com/support/support_drivers_patches.asp?Class=retail_RealScan
As for the windows drivers they are available for you here http://www.digi.com/support/productdetl.jsp?pid=2628&osvid=57&tp=1&s=0&tp2=0
Select windows xp from the drop down list and then the 4002537_h is the one your looking for, version 5.3
I'll send a copy to your email address.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks,
Ekse (Niko Ohtonen)
Im going to post a copy of the emails I've sent to you onto this page for FixYa's records.
My 2nd email to you
To continue my last email, if you get the driver from the 2nd site, run the file and it extracts the contents to c:\edgeport Drivers
When you plug in and power on the device you should get the found new hardware wizard, you would then follow the instructions on this pagehttp://www.titamworld.com/fix/instdev.ht...
once those drivers are installed to the device, it will work with the appropriate software. you can try the trial software I pointed out in the last email.
first email:
Are you fimiliar on how to install the driver on device manager manually to the device once you connect it?
You could try the "RealPOS Scanner Alerts & Tallies Tool for Windows" And see if its able to access the scanners information.
(program overview text)
So if you use that program and get the data to a local file and it has details from the scanner, that would confirm that its working.
As for software, I have to admit I don't know too much about cashier scanner software, So with the driver installed, and if you are able to obtain proper cashier software for example, in the program you should just need to set it to use the scanner, and it should work.
