Dehumidifer will not run, it has power and bucket in propery installed

If it is not running because it thinks the bucket is full even when it isn't, the problem is that the float is broken or jammed. A replacement is no longer available, but you can find the small switch and tape it so it always stays on. It won't shut off when the bucket is full, but it will run. This assumes all the other panel lights come on properly - you didn't provide much detail about what works and what doesn't work.

The problem lies in the way the bucket is reinstalled or the float valve (if yours is so equipped) is stuck in the UP position.

Remove the bucket for it's holder and check for the float valve. If it is stuck in the up position, jiggle the arm to make it return to the down position. Be fore you reinstall the bucket, look at the back wall of the bucket holder. There you will see a trigger switch. It's the bucket safety removal switch. Check it to make sure it's still intact. At 10 years old it may have broken OFF. If it appears to be be intact, install the bucket "squarely" into the bucket holder from top to bottom. Being sure that it makes firm contact with the bucket safety removal switch. When installed correctly, the bottom of the bucket will not tilt down at all.

Also, check the air intake filter as it may be dirty of clogged.

Well life span is 3-15 years depends how long and hard you run them. 45 pint is about 1000sqft basment. rule of thumbs bigger better. run less and do a better job. Sensor calibration . Make sure you are using the factory bucket, I believe it senses the weight of the bucket and water combined.Check and make sure the platform is not taped for shipping .

I would first check the drain bucket the auto shut off may still be stuck or broken. I have run across this times before.

Had same problem. Ordered and installed new bucket switch. That solved the problem.
