Windows 7 unable to detect Sharp Ar-287 - HP Computers & Internet

  • aristotle001 Sep 06, 2011

    It downloads tooldriver.exe

  • aristotle001 Sep 06, 2011

it forwarded me to a site that required me to download another piece of software. Did not get what I want. I got from him what I got when I googled my question.

That is not what I call expertise.

Hi

Verify if your Windows 7 is 32 bit or 64 bit, than download the driver accordingly from the Sharp website. Also try upgrading the driver ,it helps.

I have sharp ar-287 error ha-04. How to fix?

this sounds like you have a jam in your fuser unit.To remove this jam open the door at the left hand side, you should see a green lever to the back end lift up and take paper out, after doing this you then have to reset this error code.To enter service mode press P interupt C interupt key in 14 press start key then press CA.Photocopier should reboot if this does work then you need to get your service engineer out

Sharp AR-287 Copier Paper Jam

most copiers that have lcd screens, should you show you where the paper is. sometimes it may take getting down to look under a couple of guide plates. or just roll some of the rollers to get the paper to come out. all it takes a minute piece of paper to be sitting on a sensor for it to throw the paper jam message.

Need to reset key operator code on Sharp AR-287

Make sure the copier is in "copy" mode.
To get into service mode press the following keys one after the other "P" key - "interupt" key - "clear" key - "interupt" key (do not play around with setting in service mode as this can render your copier useless)
enter 22 and press "start" enter "7" and press start. This should display the admin code.
Restart the copier and you should be good to go.
