Driver and missing disc

This problem has occurred because only the generic video driver (VGA) was installed.
You may find other device drivers was not installed.
Go to Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager and if you see any yellow ? against any devices then these device drivers were not installed.
If you computer came with a CD that contains the device drivers then use this disc to install the missing device drivers.
If you do not have this CD then you can download the device drivers from the computer manufacturer's WEB site.
If you still have problems then use these WEB sites to automatically detect and download the device drivers for your model computer.

Yes you would need to install a driver. Did you receive a software disc with your vcam? If not, you can get the driver from here.

That is the video card driver in your PC, not the monitor driver problem. You should go to the PC manufacturer or mother board maker web site to download the correct driver for your video card.

I have an answer! I've tried many times to fix this problem on my laptop, even talking to two dell reps in the process(which was worthless). Finally I found the problem(for me, at least)- my webcam's driver was not compatible. If you haven't tried this already, go to your Device Manager, click the plus sign next to Imaging Devices, and select Integrated Webcam. Right click that and select Update Driver Software. I downloaded the latest driver it found and restarted my computer, and miraculously my webcam central was back to normal. I hope this helps you too!

after you update the BIOS

update the DVD firmare

update the driver for flash reader...i believed you have Texas instrument reader and they have update driver for xp and vista

after you update the driver ..check also the hardware update for microsoft...do custom update when you access windows update

go to menu ,advance,usb funtion and select web cam

You might have to purchase a new program.  The drivers should be included in Windows XP automatically to get it to work.
