Please help me a solution to repair Nokia N91 offline mode activate problem. I have change the sim IC but the problem is same, jumperd the sim IC but its remain same. I have tried to change the profile to general mode but the mobile goes white screen and it auto start on. What's the problem ?.....

SOURCE: Cellphone remains in Offline profile and requests

just look to your profile and select the other profile not the last of the list.use general on your profile and your phone is not offline mode.tnx.

SOURCE: my n70 is going offline

when it turns of in offline mode, turn it off again everytime.
after few times, it should ask you before the logo shows up "DO YOU WANT TO CONTINUE IN OFFLINE MODE?"
SELECT NO, AND VIOLA. ITS IN GENERAL MODE

I have the same problem..i replaced the sim band and the problem still persist.. what to do ? :' and my wifi dont detect any network :' wtf?:((

SOURCE: my nokia 5230 shows `offline`.

Your phone is not openline, meaning its locked for one network only. You must go to phone technician to unlock your phone, and convert to openline, in that way you can use any simcard for your phone. thanks

Hello... showing Offline Mode means your sim card is not detected by your phone. So, first of all please re-install the simcard by cleaning the pins. And at the same time test your sim to other phone weather it is Ok or not. In case if the problem persist, as far as I know there must be internal hardware problem...sim try/ sim filter (ic) etc might damage. If you are not a tech you can't do it by yourself so please visit nearest mobile repairing shop. Thank you

Hi...generally when you power on with a sim card a message will prompt ,continue using without sim ? "Yes" or "No" if you want to activate with the sim you should press "NO"...Or sometimes this message doesn't show you can select it by activating "General" in the profile.So, as you said there might be some problem with the sim slot(socket),or the sim card IC may damage.Therefore the best way to solve your problem is to contact nearest mobile repairing shop.Thanks for visiting fixya

Offline mode help
HIFirst clean the sim slot,insert sim card ,power on the phone and select "General" mode in profile.If there is no effect there may be internal problem which can only be repaired by mobile technician.Damage of Sim Card (IC) or related components.Good luck

My 6720 nokia phone has gone into offline mode and can not get it back online can you please help as this is a company phone, i have tried taking sim card out, and memory card out, still does not work
This problem occur when the phone gets dropped on a high place, water damage or setting on your mobile is changed.

Please follow this basic solution :

1. with the sim inserted on your phone, go to profile and select GENERAL. might you accidentally set your profile to offline mode.

2. check the simcard socket if its clean or well align,might corrosion is the problem that's why the sim fails to recognized.

3. Also clean the simcard itself using an pencil eraser.

4. align the battery terminal,might the power supply is not sufficient if the ground (middle terminal) doesn't reach the battery interface. as well as clean the battery connector.

If the above method doesn't work,consult a mobile service center for assistance,maybe the sim IC or some components related to insert sim problem maybe damage.

My nokia e72 still stay in offline mode .....how to change it..
offline may mean that the Sim Card was not correctly placed or a fall or shock on the phone has requested you to switch to offline mode and thus you are on that mode. This can be cured by turning off the phone and removing and putting back the Sim Card. You can also just change the settings to General if you had earlier inadvetently chosed the offline mode.
just try this one!!! first you do is to click the power switch for 1 sec. then it appears: switch off,lock key pad,general,silent,etc. you will see a offline word in the screen.... just choose general profile.... and this words will appear "phone is currently in offline mode. change profile to access network?" just choose yes.. i hope it will help your problem....

How to change nokia e71 offline mode to online e71
If there's no other problem with your handset, you can simply deactivate the Offline Mode from Profile settings. Go to profile and activate another profile (name) like General or whatever you like.
But if there's problem doing this, you need to check the sim card first, try it on another handset, if it's working on another phone, then clean the sim card connector on your phone, try again and check, if the problem persists, your only option is to visit a Service Center or to a mobile repairing shop and get it repaired, could be software or could be with the sim connector alone. If it's gonna worse, you'll need to replace or jumper the sim IC which is not so simple and will only be able to do by an experienced mobile technician.

hi me also had faced the same problem 1yr. back... then i went to Nokia care and submitted my phone and they sent it to main office where it got repair. so i suggest to you just consult with ur nearrest nokia care.

hmm i think it is not a simple solution for your 6682 phone'
your phone IC driver for simcard socket is damage' your phone can't read your sim'
but first try to check all contacts in your phone sim socket'
and try it to turn on' and if the prob. is desame, your phone IC is damage, offline mode means insert sim....

if there is a cellphone re-pair shop nearby'
much better to bring your phone to a cellphone technician...
