Try the program Belarc Advisor. It worked for me. I had the same problem when I updated the firmware of my EnGenius ERB9250 Extender. Once Belarc has displayed everything it has discovered about your computer, scroll down to the area labeled Network Map. There you will find your EnGenius 3220's IP.
I've run the Belarc, but can't find the AP
Here is the relevant section of Belarc Advisor showing the network IPs.
I've reset many times until the RTL 8186 was in ftp mode, (192.168.1.6) then y put the firmware with the Vista tftp tool.. it's work finelly.. TK'S

How to reset the device?
Locate the reset button next to the CAT5 (RJ45) connection. Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds and then let go. You should see your 10/100 LAN connection at your computer go away and then come back. That will confirm a reset has occurred. The unit settings should all be back to default including its IP address of 192.168.1.1.
