the numbers should move as it's calculating your blood pressure , but once it finnishes the test the numbers should lock in and not change till a new test is made and somethng thats not in any of these machines manual , allways place cuff in same spot on your arm after rolling up your sleeve i use a freckle as my landmark for this , they dont like to work too well over shirt sleeves

...here's the simple solution from Omron themselves: just turn it on, hold the memory 'down' button until it starts scrolling thru all the past readings, then press n hold the start button until you see three dashes across all displays...this should take 2-5 seconds...enjoy!
