GPX MW-238B MP3 Player Questions & Answers
Syncing with Windows Media Player
Place the music files that you want to transfer into the My Music folder of your computer - Windows will re-read them, and then you can synchronize to your device. Also, make sure the hold/lock switch is not engaged on the mp3 player - it probably isn't, but just check.

How do you delete all the songs on my GPX MW238B
I'm glad to provide the instructions to delete songs from the Walkman Player. Unfortunately, the player doesn't have the option to delete songs in itself. It is required to connect the player to the Computer to delete the files.
Please follow the steps to delete the files from the Player:
- Connect the Player to the Computer using supplied USB cable.
- Close if the Windows Media Player is automatically popping up when you connect the player.
- Open My Computer from desktop and check if you're able to view the player as a removable drive under My Computer.
- Double Click to Open it.
- You can locate the music files under the folders in the removable drive.
- Select the unwanted files and then press the delete button on the keyboard.
Now, you can transfer the required songs to the Player.
Please let me know if you require any clarifications.
Down loading music
Connect your player to your PC USB port using the cable supplied and turn the player on. If the cable is ok and the USB port is working, the player will appear as a removable drive in "My Computer" Copy the mp3 songs you want to upload and paste them into this removable drive.
My GPX mp3 player says MTP?
MTP stands for Media Transfer Protocol. If you did not run your installation CD BEFORE plugging the mp3 player into the computer, Windows XP and higher will read it as an MTP Device. As long as the player does not cause you problems, there is nothing wrong with your computer calling it that. If this is a problem: unplug the mp3 player from the computer, uninstall all software for that player, restart computer, reinstall allsoftware from installation CD, restart computer, then plug mp3 player into computer. Good luck!
