Marzocchi Silkolene Synthetic Suspension Fork Oil | 7.5W - 1L Questions & Answers
Just bought a kona bike
I can help you with your Marzocchi 20mm QR torque axle assembly installation problem.
Follow these steps for your Marzocchi 20mm Quick Release Torque Axle Assembly Wheel Replacement Fix:
- Always turn your bike upside down to remove and fit wheels.
- Unlock the brake cable from the calipers.
- Open the lever on the end of the skewer.
- Hold the nut at the other end.
- Turn the lever counter-clockwise to unscrew it until there is enough slack in the system to lift the wheel out of the dropouts.
- To replace the wheel into the dropouts, you may need to open the fork legs a little before the axle will drop in.
- Hold the nut tight against one side's drop out and twist the lever on the other side clockwise to tighten it.
- Your Marzocchi Torque axle assembly lever will 'break free' and click as you tighten it, once a certain torque level has been reached.
I hope that helps.

Hi my forks are 2nd
The best thing to do is take your forks into a bike shop that works on suspension and have them take a look. It could be low on oil and/ or air and bottoming out or it could be something more serious.
If you know the year of the fork you can pull an
owners manual from the Marzocchi website. They keep a running inventory of all their manuals in PDF, this will also help to diagnose the problem and let you know what you will need to overhaul.

There is a noise down
This is a problem best dealt with at your local bike shop. It would be near impossible to tell you what is causing you a noise on a suspension fork.
If you have a loose spring or broken part inside, not taking the fork into a qualified mechanic could lead to a broken fork or a problem that does not allow the fork to work correctly. This could very much cause injury or worse.
Don't mess around with this one, take it into a shop.

Air Shocks
There is a shock pump tool you can buy either at a bicycle shop or online that will let you add air to your shock or fork. Make sure you research your model's specified volume/pressure before you go for it so you do not damage anything.
