We need a manual for

This crib is on recall. Take it back to Walmart for a full refund of the original retail price, no receipt required. Take a printout of the link below. No problem!

Children have died in these. Please dont become a statistic.

I see you want to use it as a toddler bed and this doesnt appear to be a concern of the recall. Only use as a crib has been discouraged. However, I do know that one of my customers returned the exact same bed to Walmart and got $180 cash.

Please consider taking it to them so that any future use as a crib will be prevented along with any injury to a future infant sleeping in it. With $180 you can purchase a very nice toddler bed, even splurge! Good luck.

I need to know how

Good day

Please try this:
Instructions Things You'll Need
  • Headboard
  • Footboard
  • 2 Side pieces
  • Mattress support
  • Allen wrench
  • 8 Decorative bolts
  • 4 Hex bolts
  • Hex wrench

  • Line up one of the sides of the crib with the predrilled holes on the headboard and footboard. Until you get them attached with the bolts, you may need someone to help you hold them together.
  • Insert a decorative bolt into the predrilled hole in the bottom of the headboard and into one of the crib's side pieces. Use the allen wrench to screw the bolt in almost all the way. Do not fully tighten the bolt. Repeat this step in the bottom hole on the footboard. This will help hold the side into place.
  • Insert a decorative bolt into the predrilled hole in the top of the headboard and into the side of the crib. Use the allen wrench to screw it in almost all the way. Do not fully tighten the bolt. Repeat this in a top hole on the footboard.
  • Pull up the metal tabs on the four corners of the mattress support. The top of the support will be the side that is flat, and the raised edges should point downward. The tabs will point up and attach to the crib, allowing the mattress support to "hang."
  • Line up the four holes in each tab of the mattress support with the holes on each corner of the headboard and the footboard.
  • 6 Attach the mattress support with the hex bolts and hex wrench. Ensure that each bolt is attached at the same level so that the mattress support is even.
  • Slide the remaining crib side in between the headboard and footboard, lining up the predrilled holes. Use the remaining four decorative bolts and the allen wrench to attach the side.
  • Tighten the bolts where the sides join the headboard and footboard.

Note: The Simplicity crib can be assembled using an allen wrench and a hex wrench.
I hope this information will be helpful...

Thanks for using fixya..
