Viking oven broiler will not ignite

Your gas valve would be my first guess. Is this broiler (and bake ) lit with a glow coil or spark probe that goes (goes click, click, to light)??If spark probe, you will have to replace either gas valve or spark board. If glow bar lights the broil but does not glow, then replace glow coil.

Broiler doesn't lite, no gas going to pilot

Most cases Broiler ignitor is out, after you turn on the Broiler, check the voltage on Broiler ignitor 2 wires, if you have approx. 110v, then change the ignitor, but you don't have 110v, then check Broiler safety valve and oven thermostat, but 90% of the time is the Broiler ignitor. Have fun.

Dynasty range - oven feature has stopped working

it's very possible that the mice may have gotten in but i would say it's the ingnition electrode.

i would have a technician come and take a look. check you local authorized repair shops. shouldn't cost you more than $150.00 to repair it.

I have a Dynasty DGRSC range. It has 2 burners and a broiler. All 3 ignitors glow but the ignition is delayed. The burners are still ok.

if you are asking about the bake and broil igniters if they glow it doesn't mean that they're good, they work with amps, when the igniter pulls from 3 to 3.6 amps it opens the gas valve and then the flame ignites, easiest way to check them if they do ignite the flame is set it to bake, when the igniter starts to glow time it,if it takes longer than 40 seconds for the flame to lite the igniter is bad, also if you have two igniters for bake check the burner tubes, alot of times you'll see one igniter lites on time and the other is lazy,it keeps glowing and the heat burns a hole through the burner tube then you have to replace both the igniter and tube, you'll see the hole behind the igniter if it happens.it says your igniters are no longer available but you can use frigidaire or whirlpool but the frigidaire is cheap part 5303935066 i use this igniter in most ovens that have a flat igniter and it will work in your oven, the igniters come with ceramic wire nuts, just cut the wires from the old igniter and wire nut the new igniter to the wires,it's that easy, try to make the wires long enough so you can tuck them out of the oven, one more thing, the screws that hold the igniters onto the tube can be hard to turn,i wet a paper towel and wipe the threads on the screws, this makes a big difference the screws back out very easy when wet,you don't want to spray them with any chemicals because the heat will burn the stuff off and stink and could get into your food.good luck and hope this helps you out.

Dynasty DGR-248 LP to NAT conversion how to

Any qualified gas installer can convert it for you. Pretty straightforward. They do it all the time. A lot of new appliances come with either option and they convert them on the spot. Mainly the gas injector orifice size needs increasing. They can do this with out requiring spare parts. They just make it easier. Will also require an appliance regulator to be installed.

Delayed oven ignition. It takes about a minute to

HI. The issue may be with a weak, or mis-aligned ignitor.

The easiest way to check the ignitor is to observe it. Remove the small access panel in front or the rear section. Select a high temperature setting and start the unit. Watch the burner assembly, shortly after starting the unit the ignitor should begin to glow or spark. If you see it glow or spark, then the ignitor is working. If the ignitor did not appear to function and it is the spark type, it may be out of adjustment which generally requires professional service or it may require replacement. If the ignitor is the glow type, you can test it for resistance with a multimeter.

The ignitor has two wires connected to it.Label the wires and connections so that you can properly reconnect them later. The wires are connected with slip on connectors. Firmly pull the connectors off of the terminals (do not pull on the wire itself). You may need to use a pair of needle-nose pliers to remove the connectors. Inspect the connectors and the terminals for corrosion. If either is corroded they should be cleaned or replaced.

Set the multimeter to the ohms setting X1. Touch one probe to each terminal. You should get a reading anywhere between 50 and 600 ohms. If you get a reading of zero or infinity, the ignitor is definitely bad and will need to be replaced.

NOTE_ (GLOW TYPE) - If the bake igniter glows red and not bright yellow or white, it is probably because it is too weak. When this happens, the safety valve would not let the gas out into the oven burner. A weak igniter must be replaced.
