A number of Sagem models have shown incompatibilities with the recentFreeview retune, and your model is specifically listed as one of those affected (see
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/bsp/hi/pdfs/01_10_09_freeview2.pdf ). Sagem are not the only ones, better known brands had problems as well.
Sagem error code 07 means there'san access problem in back-up memory and code 09means the machine has been unable to find any data necessary to do anupgrade. In essence, your box has tried to upgrade itself and failedand now cannot restore to it's previous state.
The official advice is to contact Sagem directlyon 0845 0900 316 to find out if they've scheduled an OAD (over air update).
Although my answer doesn't offer an immediate fix it should at leastreassure you that you have done nothing to cause the fault: it's beenthere from the day it was manufactured just waiting to occur.
