A common problem with the Moguls, do you have a lot of programs installed on the main memory, try to install programs on a memory card, also delete unused files and move what you can over to the memory card. It helps to close programs completely instead of letting them run in the background. Mine froze up a lot but moving stuff to the memory card helped.

I had this same problem, there is a thin line of wires connecting the bottom half and top half of the sliders, after awhile it just plain wears out and will generally crack, without these wire anything on the front of your phone will no longer work. The screen is black but stil lights up a little bit and occasionally the buttons light up but its pretty much toast I'm sorry to say. I upgraded to a HTC Touch Pro 2 and am happier than ever!

There is a chance that Windows Live might be corrupted on your device. Personally I never had any problems with it. Normally your contacts are stored in Outlook format, so when adding someone to your contacts list don't add them as Windows Live, just select the Outlook option.

I hope you have your contacts backed up because there is no way to unlock it without performing a Hard Reset. First hold down both soft keys and the soft reset hole at the bottom by the memory card slot simultaneously. The soft keys are the 2 dots to the left and right of the D-pad. If you do it correctly, on-screen prompts will appear on a white screen, just follow it from there!

ya there mwy be a virus and the virus may be deleted the driver for the wifi. you have to reprogram your phone.

it may be loose battery connection problem,try to put a folded paper support on other side of of the battery in battery case, it may solve your problem

I think it is not a battery problem (at least, not anymore). Your phone seems to be stuck in the boot screen. I suppose you'll have to hard reset it, to get rid of such a condition. You, most probably, know that a hard reset will set your device to its factory defaults, thus deleting all programs you have installed, as well as your personal data.
To perform a hard reset, press and hold both softkeys, and whilst keeping them pressed, briefly press the reset pin (at the bottom of your device) with the stylus pen. Release the softkeys only when you see a request for confirmation on the screen. Slide the hardware keyboard and press 'R'.

If you go to Settings ->Power and then click ADVANCED at the bottom you can change the settings -You can change after how long of the phone not being in used to turn it off. You can also go to backlight to change the settings to conserve battery power

this may sound strange, but it has worked alot. take the battery out and put the phone itself in a ziplock bag filled with white rice. leave for 12-24 hours and check it. basically the rice sucks the moisture out of the phone. like i said i have seen this work multiple times, but not always.

the problem may be;
1. your wifi antenna is broken
2. your wifi antenna driver software may be deleted
3. your phone software is damaged

it can be unlocked by calling your carrier and they will give you the infomation unlock code as long as the account is current and not delienquent if canceled

the only way to unlock the device is do a hard reset on it :\

NO. many have tried ALL have failed, you see that information,is stored in a NVRAM IC, even replacing it will not work.

if it has google then there is something you have set up that saved all your contacts if you did not then i would suggest bluetooth with your old phone or manually put them back lol
