Heritage superfan model 4000hp fan does not work!
This fan has a unique dc motor and a proprietary controller. DO NOT USE A STANDARD CONTROLLER OR SWITCH. The controller is very rare and is no longer made or supported. The company was purchased by Casablanca Fans, but they offer no help.

Missing parts for 5dtw52wz2td
ALWAYS break open the package BEFORE you buy it. Then you can count the parts. NEVER deviate or you will be cursing the Chinese again.

Remote receiver faulty
That is correct you need a new receiver for the fan. The other problem that could have happened is when you replaced the batter in the remote you accidentally hit the dip switches and changed them. That is the box that has 4 white switches on it. One is in the remote and one is one the receiver that goes in the fan.

My 3-speed ceiling fan is
Hi,
Guess what?
A standard dimmer switch will not properly operate a fan motor. In fact, it’s most likely going to damage the fan motor and it could even potentially cause a fire. I’ll admit I even went out and bought a dimmer switch and I sat down to just “make sure” I was doing the right thing when I figured this out.
Standard dimmer switches are designed for the wattage of lights. Fan controls are designed for the amperage of the fan motor. So if you want to control the speed of a ceiling fan make sure you buy a fan speed control that specifically says it works for fans. Fan controls come in quite a few styles. The most common type has been around for quite some time and that is the rotary or dial type. The next most common fan control I found was the toggle that has three pre-set speeds (slow, medium and fast). You can also get a fan control that has a slider control along with a toggle switch.
The type that I want to install is a toggle switch with a small slider switch next to it. I have a feeling I’ll have to order one of these but I’ll check with my electrician tomorrow to find out the scoop. The bottom line is you can’t use a standard dimmer switch to control a ceiling fan. You have to get a fan speed control switch that is specifically designed to operate fan motors.
the short wire leads coming from the switch should be attached to other wires with small wire nuts. Just unscrew the wire nuts, unscrew the finial type cap that holds the switch in place, remove the switch and take it to the store. If your lights are strictly "ON"-"OFF" there should be just two wires from the switch. If your lights are controlled - "One" "TWO" or "THREE" at a time the switch will probably have three wires coming from it.

Power supply pull switch is broken
Just about any hardware store will have a replacement switch for your fan. They are a standard piece of equipment. You don't mention if it is the switch that controls the light,or the one that controls the fan.The light switch is a simple on off switch. The fan switch could be a simple on off switch or could have variable speeds. It may have an off position, and may not.You can tell if it is variable speed or not by looking at it.It will have more than two leads. You can decide for your self if you want an off position or not.For instance if you want to turn the fan off,and on from a wall switch you may not want an off position on the fans pull chain.
