I have a duo therm model 630035.321. What is the best replacement unit?

There isn't one. Every a/c unit is a piece of junk. Just like your t.v., fridge, and microwave. Buy cheap, replace when it breaks down. It's all luck, so Good Luck!! Best Wishes!! If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/thomas_092728000e6acb79

We have a Duo-therm by Dometic thermostat that does not shut the ac off. We have to manually shut thermostat off to shut ac off. Any suggestions what we can try or just replace thermostat?

Try plugging the hole in the wall where the wire comes through. Also be sure you are not trying to reach your humidity set point therefore overshooting your cooling setpoint. Referred to "droop" in settings If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/thomas_092728000e6acb79

My Dometic RV Rooftop AC Unit works Great when I have the A/C ON when I cut the A/C off the Freon pump motor is still activated and freezes the lines.

It could be that the contactor is stuck closed .The contactor is where the compressor wire goes to .There should be 2 low voltage wires (24 volt) that connected to either the side or top back of the contactor ,you can just pull 1 wire out ( shut power off unit first) then when power back on and compressor still run that mean the contactor is bad and needed to be replaced

Is it common for a rv rooftop air conditioner to leak water on to the roof? I have a Dometic Duo-Therm unit 579,590,595 series.

All AC units create condensation from the cooling of air (cold/cool air hold less water than warm air), it is worse in areas of humid air like the Midwest for example.

My Dometic ac not working. Replaced both capacitors. No power to thermostat. Switched out thermostat to no avail. Need help!!!!!!

Likely as simple as a float switch. Meaning the drain is backed up. 24 volts starts at transformer, then to fuse, then to float switch, then to tstat. Find where the voltage stops. Use your tongue If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/thomas_092728000e6acb79

Why does the dometic take so long to wash

Hello KAREN DOWLING, The number 1 reason new generation washers take EXTENDED times to wash... is the operators FAILURE to read & heed the need to use te new HIGH EFFICIENCY DETERGENTS... ("HE"). It may take a while to restore your machines efficiency if this has been going on for a while... USE of common detergents overpowers the sensors that are critical to the PERFORMANCE of the "HE" washers and it takes good hot water and proper cleaning agents to restore that efficiency. There are remedial cleansers that can be purchased and used ... or the machine my simply NOW NEED REPAIR. It is ALWAYS best to follow MANUFACTURES instructions... The "HE" instruction was not a SUGGESTION... It was a MANDATE. Carnac the Magnificent
