Contact the carrier that the phone was purchased from. They will need the IMEI to provide you with the correct unlock code.

Remove the battery and immerse both the phone and the battery in dry uncooked rice for three days. This is the only cheap way to dry everything out. After the three days put the battery back in the phone and it should be OK

There could be a software issue here... Although that little envelope icon also is displayed for unopened text messages. With that said, there may be a text somewhere that you did not open and thought you did. You may want to run through your text messages and see if any of them are unopened. Locking and Unlocking the Device: FOR LG CU 400

1. From the standby screen, press Menu.
   
   
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
   
   
3. Scroll to and select Security.
   
   
4. Scroll to and select Lock Handset.
   
   
5. Select desired option:
   • When Power On
   • When Smartchip Changed
   • Immediately
   • Off
     
     
6. Enter the Security Code, press OK.
   NOTE: The default security code is 0000.
   

Setting the PIN Code:

1. From the standby screen, press Menu.
   
   
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
   
   
3. Scroll to and select PIN Code Request.
   
   
4. Scroll to and select On.
   
   
5. Enter the PIN code, press OK.
   NOTE: Default PIN code is 1111.
   

Changing the Security Code:

1. From the standby screen, press Menu.
   
   
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
   
   
3. Scroll to and select Change Codes.
   
   
4. Scroll to and select Security Code.
   
   
5. Enter the current Security Code, press OK.
   NOTE: The default security code is 0000.
   
   
6. Enter in the New security code, press OK.
   
   
7. Confirm Security Code, press OK.
   

IMPORTANT: If the incorrect lock code is entered more than 3 times the phone will display "ENTER PUK". If this message is displayed contact Customer Care.

it could be that something is affecting the phone`s battery to lose power so fast.

But one thing it could be is the charging unit, if you eliminate that as well, at your dealers

then i`d asked for it to be replaced.

Usually, cells come wth the code being the last 4 digits of its number. Some also come with 1234 as the default code.
