No sound

hi there
on your CD deck or what ever unit you plugged the RCA wires to needs to be set on subs the radio needs to be set to put sound to your amp.....on your CD player if you press the F/function button a few times it will scroll to SW which is for the subs set this to the on position or if your CD player has a button with SW press it and turn on this feature......if this has been done......check the fuse or fuses on the amp.......if you have done all of the above check the back of the CD unit to make sure you are plugged into sub-woofer RCA or R (rear) RCA ..........sometimes people accidentally put the RCA wires into the aux input RCA,,,,,, double check this.........
hope this helps

How do I uninstall Crunch GPV-1200.4 amp? Bought used car, found this in boot. Which cables belong to car and which go with amp? Thanks.

I would guess the two thick reds with the semi-transparent insulation are part of the add-on wiring but careful as at least one is likely to be a supply cable. The two pairs of transparent cables don't look like OE wiring either.

Crunch 2000.4 car amp, need help tuneing

re-check the speaker connections are correct and use a matching ohm test speaker on the other connections for a sound check. Sounds like hi frequency output into the sub amp. Sub-woofers are a mono signal!!

Noise after amp installed

Check its wiring. There is many things to consider when wire it with; otherwise audio will be distorted at high level volume. It should be done according to wiring diagram. Wiring diagram to many sets are illustrated by the site give below. Check it. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Does crunch blackmaxx take aux for iPhone?

The amp is a discontinued model, but I do think I found the specs on it. It will produce : 350 Watts X2 @ 4 ohms 700 Watts X2 @ 2 ohms 1,400 Watts X1 @ Bridged at 4 ohms It is designed to be ran inline between your stereo and a set of, or a single, sub woofer. This could be a significant amount of work for a beginner in car audio, but it can be done. I would do a little research and decide if you want to use this amp. Join in on forums like http://www.caraudio.com/forums/forum.php, and http://mobileaudioforum.com/forum/forum.php to learn what can be done, and how to do it. good luck.

I unpluged my amp from

There should be a group of screw terminals. They should say pos or (+), remote, and ground, GND, or (-). This is the power terminal. The power from the battery goes to the (+), the remote turn one (thin wire) goes to the one labeled remote (usually inbetween the ground and power wires), and the ground to the (-). RCA jacks should be labeled input and output. Plug the appropriate colors in the input ones. The speaker terminals are labeled left and right + and -. If it is a 4 channel amp, it will also have front and rear. Depending how you wired your speakers is how they will go to the amp. Follow the speaker wires to the appropriate prongs positive or negative. Hope this helps.

I have a crunch p1500.1

There a few different issues that could be troubling you.

1. The Amplifier's outputs are no longer working
- To test this, connect the negative probe of a digital multimeter (DMM) to the negative (-) terminal of the amps speaker output. Connect the positive probe of the DMM to the (+) terminal of the amps speaker output. The output terminals you are referencing should be the output to the same speaker. Set the DMM to AC Voltage/lowest setting. If you read AC voltage than the outputs are ok. If you show no reading then the outputs are bad. Stop here and get the amp repaired or use as a paperweight.

2. Check the RCA connections behind the radio. They may have come undone. If so, re-connect and dance for joy as you once again enjoy music in your car.

3. Confirm that your RCA connections to your amp are plugged into the INPUT and not OUTPUT or THROUGHPUT. If in the output or throughput then move to the input. refer to the last sentence in #2 above.

4. Your RCA connections/or RCA cables are bad. Use the above mentioned DMM to check for continuity in the RCA's to ensuyre they are in working condition. You can also use the DMM set to ACC voltage like in #1 above to check to see if voltage (speaker signal) is being sent to your amp.

5. Make sure the amplifier's gain setting is not turned all the way down. If so, adjust accordingly.

If none of these solve your issue then most likely your amp is beyond the do-it-yourself repairs.
