i dosn't know my web camera m/n please tell me which model is correct m/n v-u16 or v-ut16

Have you checked the recording settings in Windows and in Skype? Try changing the default recording device to specifically indicate the device that has your headset plugged. I think the webcam also has a mic and that should not be selected.

Other thing to check is if there is some kind of resource conflict between your USB controller and audio card (use Device Manager).

Make sure you have the latest drivers from Logitech and also Logitech recommends that both ends of the connection download the latest Skype software from skype.com.

You will find the colour and contrast sliders there

Their microphone is not working. Send them this webcam technical support link as it has step-by-step instructions for getting a mic to work. They should also verify in the Skype Settings that the right mic is selected under Audio.

Try twisting the little thing around the lense if it's twistable.
If it isn't look at the software you installed for it and check the settings on it, there should be somewhere where you can change the fuzziness if there isn't look at the instructions if there was any or the help topics on the programme you installed for it (there should be one)if all else fails - take it back to the shop and ask them about it.

if you go in the Tool menu, then Options, you will get a section called Audio settings.
There you can chose the right Input device, in your case you want the microphone of your webcam, and once it is selected try talking and you should see a "green line" showing as you speak confirming that the device is properly recording.
If the green line is short, you might want to boost the volume by moving the blue dot to the right. You can also uncheck the "adjust my volume automatically" since it can put your volume very low every time a loud noise is caught by the microphone.
If the camera microphone is not listed, installing your webcam software again should make it available after a reboot.
