Most universal remotes brands have some sort of web presence. Try searching your particular remote and look for the brand TV you are trying to control then write it directly on the remote. Better fix would be to go buy a new one. Less than $10. Get the super jumbo one you can't possibly lose!

good day. there are some parts to be tested. just resolder all pins of jungle ic. make sure that the board has no loose connection, try to check them all. then try to on your tv.

These are simple to take apart and you will need to do that to remove the keypad and dry the PCB and rubber feet at the back of the keypad. Do not use an abrasive cloth on the rubber or PCB, just dry it with a light lint rag and it should work fine.

I am having the same problem with our prima lcd tv.I contacted an expert who said we just needed a new power supply board which is about 35 dollars.The only problem is is that Prima is no longer in business and am unable to find anyone who can find part numbers for this brand and their phone number is disconnected and their web site is as well.Sorry I can't be of more help.

Unfortunately, what you're describing is a repair issue. You won't be able to address the problem with troubleshooting. There is a part inside the TV that needs to be replaced. If you're under warranty, this will cost you nothing. If you're not under warranty the cost will likely be a minimum of $200 parts and labor. However, be warned that the cost could be considerably higher.

Check Fuse if you inclined to open the cabinet, there is a fuse right next to a large cap size looking unit, see if its has foggyness to it or its burned, go to radioshack and request the right polarity and amps or you could blow the main psu. Is the fuse in the plug okay?

If the fuses are not blowing when you are turning the tv on, this suggests that the PSU primary side is okay.

Since you have opened the TV up, I would suggest probing around with a multimeter however I do not want to let you harm yourself or the TV.

i have a prima ttv2131 which locked as above and holding down the display button for five seconds unlocked it (as well as locks it)

check the fuse first then, resolder the power supply of your tv.

some of the tact switch of your tv are defective,or stock ,if you know how to solder, change all switches but be carefull of short circuit
