You are probably looking at a component input, which is a high definition set up. Often the red/yellow/white (or composite) inputs on newer TV's are located on the side for easy access. Check both the left and right side of the set to see if thats where they are. if they are not there, what model LG TV do you have?

It can't be done. The DVD remote will be single frequency for that device only and the LG remote for that LG Blu Ray (or series) only. Companies don't make cross-control between makers easy.
