I think the driver for the wireless is missing and will have to be reinstalled. You could do windows updates and see if you get the driver that way and if not go to the manufactures website and download it.

It may be because of the viruses or malwares... or you may have acciddently deleted those..

If you have plugged it into the right port and it is not on by default then goto control panel>sound and audio devices and the voice tab and see if it's muted

the keys on a Laptop keyboard are very delicate and they break easy if its the space or shift there is a metal that holds the key maybe its lose if other keys you need to replace the keys

What are you doing, for the drivers to _not_ be automatically loaded?

add it to your boot up programs, it will be in the applications settings, if not go to start menu click on run, and type msconfig, it is in the boot section jsut click it

You need to check first if the wireless switch is turn on.If it is on, check the function key for the wireless. Some computers have function key. Sometimes it is combination of fn and f5. Press those keys at the same time and you should see a pop up window and check if the current status is on. If it is on, uninstall/reinstall the wireless driver in device manager. and restart your computer. If this didn't work. You need to do re installation of your operating system

Are you sure you lost all your data. If it's lost it's lost, unless you do some kind of data recovery. If it's year "0" then you probably have a problem with your battery, or otherwise your CMOS is not keeping it's settings. And or it sounds like something is corrupt. If you can get back to the operating system trying backing your data up to a floppy or CD-R while you sort your Laptop problems out.

You need to goto the manufacturers website, find their support section and there should be a list of drivers for your specific machine. Installing these should resolve your problem. I have a list of links to most manufacturers drivers on my website.
