Incompatibilities artise multivendor networking

Do the following

Sup guys i found the cure to this horroble blue screen death for this N610c. Ok i called hp and they wanted $69.99 for tech support well just imagine what i told them to do lol. Anyway i did my research and guess what i found out. That the updated driver is made to screw up your connection so that you have to call tech support and they can steal your money.
Im a computer technician since 1990 and what i discover was that beautiful driver that works here is a list of drivers that cannot be used on the Evo N610C because it causes conflits that no one can fix i know for sure.
List of the no no drivers are:
These drivers will make your screen go from windows to BLUE.
ap29156
sp28252
sp29156
Here is how i fixed the problem i deleted everything that had to do with LANMultiport drivers every single one then i searched my laptop to remove the rest of the lost files.
Once that was done the i installed this driver (sp23031)
Once that was installed and the puter rebboted the wifi card found my wireless connection and asked me to input my Network Key and walla it works great now without any problems.
Im using windows XP Home i just bought memory cause im installing windows 7 32 bit.

Finally the key is this driver (sp23031) for both home and pro eddition.
Here is the link to download your driver:

Screen does not come on when I switch my compaq

If you see a dark screen meaning look deep into the screen if you see a logo thru it then it means that the life of the bulbs is done you have to replace the screen is cheap on ebay i got mine there and it works fine to take apart is also easy. But before you spend your money attache an external monitor to it from the VGA on back if it show on the screen then yes your screen is bad if it does'nt then the board is bad.

My compaq n610c laptop hangs

hello

this is the link to go to to identify more thoroughly, the issue of blue screen.
i would say that if it states memory dumping in the blue screen description, then its a memory module compatability or failure.

Compaq 610 laptop is restart

Can you see in task manager if your CPU is at 100%? This might be causing the reboot, due overheating.
Check if you are not blocking any of the heatsink gates.

Laptop doesnt work when unplugged

Make sure the battery is in your notebook correctly. You might need to remove it, and insert it again. Try that.
If that doesn't work, your battery might be broken. (Battery's don't have such a long lifetime) Try searching the web for your *Brand name, model* battery. Good luck.

My daughter change the pass word, and we cant get

First, you can try this method.Start system and press F8 key when Windows is starting up. Then select Safe Mode with Command Prompt and enter. Choose Administrator, the default password may be blank if you don't set the default administrator password before. Then you will enter into doc Command as following.
Type " net user net user xxx 12345 /add " (xxx is the locked account name and 123456 is the new password set on this account). Then you will see the Command Completed Successfully.
Then this method can fully help you remove the administrator password,i highly suggest you this one.
1. Login to a computer that can link to Internet. Download windows Password key from http://www.lostwindowspassword.com and install it on that PC. Note that: there is a .ISO file. Burn the .ISO file to a CD or a USB flash drive.
2. Insert the newly created CD/USB drive to the locked computer.
3. Reboot the locked computer and press'F2'or'Delete'to enter your BIOS setup and then followed the process of instructions. Just a few steps, the old password was removed.

I have a compaq laptop

Hello,

If you dont know the Power on password for your System, forgotten it, or its not accepting it

again, then you might have to reset your CMOS.

Which means you will have to unscrew your system, remove all cables supplying power to the

board, locate the CMOS battery and remove it for a few seconds, then replace it and screw your

system back.

This will reset your system's CMOS back to its Factory default settings.

(If you can't unscrew your PC yourself, you can just get a good technician to do it for you

instead.)

Hope it helps.
Goodluck!

Non-system disk or disk error

Hello Sir.

Please check that your cd or dvd drive does not contain any disks when attempting to boot.
This can sometimes cause boot problems. The other problem you may be experiencing is hard drive failure. This can be caused by the hard drive loosing its configuration from wear or failure. Perhaps you have an extra hard drive laying around you can test to see if you get same error.
Thanks And GOOD LUCK!
