Water does not get up to the upper spray head
When you try the water dispenser you should hear the water inlet valve which is on the back where the water supply comes in. If you do hear it then Your water line could be frozen in the door. You can disconnect the line under the unit before it goes into the door at the bottom hinge. Push the dispenser button and see if it comes out there. If it does leave the door open till it thaws.
If you don't hear the valve working the dispenser switch is bad. thumbs up
My Maytag Quietseries 300 has suddenly stopped draining H2O
My Maytag Quietseries has the same problem after less than 2 years. Mine is caused by using granular dishwasher detergent, which is the most common type of detergent. I took apart the entire pump inlet section (need a torx scew driver and a small socket for the impeller) and found the white abrasive material from the detergent (Cascade in my case) was packing in and pluging up all areas of the inlet. After I cleaned it all out & reassembled, dishwasher was back to 100%. Also noticed the normal cycle worked much better as well.

Maytag 300 no power after storm
did you check the fuse panel in your house it may look to be on and may be tripped. try this first,if still no power must replace unit it's fried.
My kitchenaid dishwasher is not cleaning the
If there is not enough water, the dishes would not get cleaned. This
could be caused by a partially closed water shut-off valve (located
under the sink), or a faulty dishwasher water valve (located at the
bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side).
Also, There is usually two, sometimes three spray arms in a dishwasher.
Make sure there is no debris blocking the holes inside each spray
arm.
**Water temperature Note***
To get the best results, the water has to be at 120 degrees
Fahrenheit when entering the dishwasher.
My dishwasher KUDi01IL is having
Hi,
As we are not there, we can make some intelligent guess. This is a common problem in Dishwasher. There might be million of reasons for the same and to be frank you would agree. Let me put down some main reasons which i have found ;-
1. There is usually a Thermal Fuse mounted on the Control Board ( On most of the models ). If that Fuse is at fault or might be due to open connection, you might see buttons lit intermittently or very rare.
2. Bad Control Panel - Main reason for your problem.
90% of people who suffer from above mentioned problems have Bad Control Panel. Check and if at fault, get it replaced or repaired ( Better replace it ).
Note down the part number. Either look for online vendors like ebay and so and purchase and fix it yourself or call a tech to replace that.
Note - Always confirm the fault before ordering any element.
Hope i helped you.

Dishes not being washed
Check your wash arms are they clogged. If you have too much trash in the machine you may have clogged your wash arms. OR you may have a screen in the bottom of the tub that is clogged with trash not allowing your pump to pum the water adequately. The last possibility, is your pump impala is damaged or worn out and not pumping water. The wash arms and screen you can do. Call a repair man if that doesn't take care of the problem
Door will not open on my KitchenAid Superba dishwasher
Hi Karissa (I
LOVE your name!)
I took the opportunity of your post to upload a technical service manual for you. The "child lock" feature is only for the control functions (the buttons) and has nothing to do with the door actually locking. Here is the link to the
tech manual. I hope you find it useful.

Water overflows from dishwasher.
The most common cause of a Sears Kenmore dishwasher over flowing is a fail "float" switch that detects when the water has reached the proper level.
If you want more directions, please post back here and we will take the next steps. OK?
Our house had a power surge last year and since
Step 1, Open up the sump assembly/filter which is below the lower spray arm. It appears the the sump filter top is held down with just one screw.
Remove everything you can, rinsing/cleaning any thing that needs it. With a flashlight, inspect/clean the sump area, looking for any debris. While you are there, look closely at the heating element for any damage (breaks or "bubbles" on the dark circle/rod.) If you see obvious damage, replace the heating element.
Reassemble and test out dishwasher. Test out with dirty dishes and use only a brand name powder detergent (like Electrosol or Cascade)
If problems continue, confirm that the heating element is working. Replace as needed. If it has failed and is replaced, you will see immediate improvement in cleaning.
If heating element is working and cleaning is still poor, replacing the main washer pump (which includes the impeller) will fix you right up.
Good Luck and please update me with what you find, Ok?
Wash Arms not spinning --Dishes not clean
Without the model number of your Maytag number, I can not determine if when you order a wash pump motor you also get the impeller.
Sounds like you are on the right path to getting your dishwasher to wash dishes again.
Oh, while you have the dishwasher open, check that the heating element has not failed using a Multimeter.
Good Luck!
Maytag quiet 300 series
The most common solution to your problem is replacing a failed main wash motor/pump.
Without the model number, I can't point you to the correct model number.
Be aware that replacing a wash motor is not a trivial task and most households hire a service tech to do the job.
Good Luck!
Motor sounds like it is straining '
When you get a chance, please post the whole model number of your Maytag dishwasher here.
Because you are still getting clean dishes, you probably have debris (a bone or fruit pit) that has gotten down to the pump/impeller or the chopper area.
Remove the lower spray arm, remove the filter/sump assembly and clean everything out. With a flash light, inspect the whole sump area for debris. I bet you will find stuff there (beware of broken glass!) and when you re-assemble, the noise will ne normal.
Good Luck! Please post back what you find, OK?
Cleaned inside then ran a vinegar solution
Have no fear about the vinegar causing the water to stop working. It is not directly related and the problem would have happened at some other time soon.
The most common problem with water not entering the dishwasher is a failed (hot) water inlet valve (solinoid valve) That valve can be found by following the hot water hose to the dishwasher. At the place where the hose connects to the dishwasher you will find the valve.
Good Luck!
